Looking for Lila was founded by Sophia Seymour, a graduate in History of Art and Italian at University College London and L'Orientale in Naples. Sophia received a first for her university thesis from UCL on grassroots social art projects in Scampia, the Gomorrah heartland of northern Naples and now divides her time between working as a freelance journalist specialising in all things Neapolitans (The Guardian, The Idler and Culinary Backstreets) giving tours, working as a fixer for filmmakers and journalists (Conde Naste/BBC/CNN), making Naples centric documentaries and running Nata Nyola Migrant Journal a platform publishing writing and artwork by asylum seekers, documenting their experiences in Europe. Sophia promises to expose the city's raw and hidden beauty, multi-faceted history, mythical cultures, mysterious secrets and intriguing daily life. After a day with Sophia you will leave wishing you had planned to stay for longer.
